The Stewart Family

A few weeks ago I got the privilege of shooting family photos for the Stewart family. Ian is the co-owner of The Whole Brand Agency that I get to shoot with frequently on marketing projects. We had already missed most of the fall colors by this point in the year so we decided to head into the foothills outside of Loveland to get into some evergreens instead. It turned into a beautiful evening and they are a wonderful and sweet family. We had a great time.

For the Photogs: This was my first session using digital medium format with the GFX50s with the 63mm and I absolutely love the process of shooting this way and the images came out beautiful. I also used a Nikon Z6ii with a 35mm for some of the wider shots.

Thanksgiving 300 Lapper

I made it out to Colorado National Speedway yesterday for the 300 lapper a couple weekends ago. My buddies Justin and Shawn came in 4th and 5th. It was a really fun event. I’m excited to get out there and shoot some more next season. I have some ideas for a documentary project out there I just need to make the time to shoot a lot more.

A Day of Location Scouting

I spent a good chunk of the last few days driving around northern Colorado location scouting for a couple of upcoming portrait sessions. As always I had a camera with me, in this case the GFX 50s with 45mm and 63mm lenses. I ended up making a few images that I like quite a bit! This is a good reminder to just get out. Grab your gear and go for a drive with an open mind and the world will provide you with some cool opportunities.
