I started a new gallery today based on a a new camera. A couple of months ago I acquired a Lomography Belair X 6-12 through a trade. Its a weird little camera that has a kinda cool trick up its sleeve, it shoots a 6x12 medium format negative. The lenses are plastic and kinda crap but maybe that adds to the effect? I have been wanting a panoramic camera for awhile and I figured until I can afford an X-Pan or something similar this would have to work.

But after seeing the images, I actually really like it. I like the blurriness in the corners and the dreamy quality it has. I think the stark landscape of this part of South Dakota is really suited to a camera like this.

Now that I have seen the images it makes, I think I am going to have a lot of fun with this camera. It will travel with me and capture dreamy, cinematic, panoramas of the places I want to remember.
