I made a few more images for the My Neighborhood project. I was thinking how fun this project will be as time goes on and the leaves change, and we get snow...it will be fun to see how different seasons change the look of my neighborhood.
Today I started a new photo project. It's one I have kinda wanted to do for a long time. I am simply calling it My Neighborhood. I was partially inspired by Matthew McCord who is doing a project documenting his whole town. I decided to make mine smaller and only capture my neighborhood. I am limiting myself to between the blocks of 112th to 120th, and Washington to Claude. Since we will probably move out of the neighborhood to get our own place in the next year or so it makes the project limited, which I actually really like. It gives me a goal and an end date. I really wanted to be specific on this project so I am also limiting myself to a certain camera, lens, and Lightroom preset. This will maintain consistency but also creatively stretch myself as I have to work within the restrictions.
I hope you enjoy it and I would love to see if you have a similar project going. My first four photos from the project are posted in this post and you can view the rest of the project in the gallery.

Here is Courtney's -2 months maternity picture. I am less than 2 months away from being a dad! I can't believe it.
Yesterday we celebrated 5 years of being married! It's seems like we just got married and like we have never not been married all at once. @courtneyrgilmer is by far the coolest, most beautiful, most loving, and most fun person and I know and am amazed that she is gonna be the mom of my little girl. I love you baby! Here's to a lifetime of adventure together.
These photos were taken at 29 weeks with my Sony A7ii and Voigtlander 40mm f1.4. River is moving around like crazy now! I can't wait to meet her.
