What I Do *
I split my photography between paid work and personal projects, but the two are more connected than they might seem. One keeps me sharp, teaches me to solve problems, and helps me make strong pictures under pressure, the other keeps me curious and gives me room to follow ideas that I am passionate about.
In both cases, I’m chasing pictures that feel authentic, human, and important. I’m drawn to color, texture, story, small details, good light, and everyday moments that feel bigger than they should. That’s the stuff that keeps photography fun for me.
I finally got over to the track a couple weekends ago to document some of the racing with Brothers Racing. Shawn, Justin and two of the grandkids raced. It was unfortunately a disappointing day for them. A couple of wrecked cars and disappointing finishes, but a bad day at the track is still a good day.
